Questions for a quote

Bring a short question map to the price conversation.

Take the questions that fit your visit. You can ask for a written reply and bring it home before deciding. A blank answer is a reason to ask again.

A question sheet to keep with the quote

Name the proposal
  • What is the exact ingredient, form and reason for offering it to me?
  • Is this a skin product or a prescription treatment?
  • What evidence in people matches this exact use and form?
  • What other option could address the same concern?
Name the people
  • Who would assess me and write any prescription?
  • Where can I check that person’s current licence?
  • Which pharmacy would prepare or dispense the medicine?
Name every charge
  • Can I have the visit, product, tests and later care listed apart?
  • What is excluded from the amount being quoted?
  • When does any introductory price end?
  • What would the same plan cost after that offer?
Name the way out
  • What happens to my payment if no treatment is prescribed?
  • How do I stop renewals and get written confirmation?
  • After I leave the service, how can I contact the person who treated me about a concern?

If the conversation moves to another treatment

If another treatment comes up during the visit, ask for its full name and what studies in people support the proposed use. Give that treatment its own quote and questions, separate from the peptide discussion.

If a reply is hard to follow, try: “Please say that again using the words on my quote.” There is no need to pretend a term is clear.
